Tunisia: The Tunindex is up 12.01% on a cumulative basis (TSE)

The Tunindex index closed July at 9,801.19 points, an increase of 0.77% after a gain of 2.51% in June 2024.

Since the beginning of the year, its cumulative gains have reached 12.01%, compared with an increase of 11.31% during the same period in 2023, the Tunis Stock Exchange reported on Thursday in “La lettre de la Bourse” (July 2024).

The Tunindex20 rose by 0.26%, after gaining 2.82% in the previous month, to close at 4,381.22 points.

Since the beginning of the year, the Tunindex20 has risen by 14.52%, compared with a rise of 12.20% over the same period in 2023, according to the TSE.

Trading volume on the bourse reached 114.4 MD (million dinars), down 46.44% from the previous month.

The average daily trading volume was 5.2 MD compared to 11.2 MD in June 2024 and 5.9 MD in year 2024 (first 7 months).
