Who we are looking for..

The CareMessage team is looking for a Program Manager to help execute our clinical and health equity strategy in a way that aligns measurable patient outcomes with product utilization. This is a great opportunity for someone who has experience leading tech-forward projects that improve health equity, and is looking to lead systems-change in healthcare to improve health equity for millions of people nationwide.

Within 1 month you’ll..

Become familiar with all CareMessage offerings, including our vast library of messages and programs

Learn about and be able to demo the CareMessage product, specifically outlining the various use cases for patient messaging

Build relationships with key people across the team who drive the implementation of CareMessage solutions

Consolidate existing data on CareMessage publications and clinical research projects

Review and assess relevant clinical quality measurement guidelines (PCMH, HEDIS, UDS, etc)

Within 3 months, you’ll..

Take ownership of all role responsibilities as outlined below

Create a roadmap to improve CareMessage content and templates, prioritizing alignment with the latest clinical guidelines

Support existing projects aimed at improving maternal health outcomes, diabetes management, and resources tied to social drivers of health

Within 6 months, you’ll..

Keep up-to-date on the healthcare industry and interpret changes which will impact our health equity strategy

Manage projects as needed to support new areas of exploration that drive healthcare equity and outcomes

Responsibilities

Health Equity Strategy

Along with our Chief Strategy Officer, maintain and evolve our health equity strategy

Support the work of our Clinical Advisory Board in informing our focus, impact measurement, and solution design

Lead the execution of our health equity strategy through experiments with partners, customers, and other contributors in our ecosystem

Collaborate with internal stakeholders across product development, revenue, etc. to ensure others understand our health equity strategy and areas of success

Drive Improvements in Health Equity

On an annual basis, update our clinical guidelines and ensure the application of relevant changes to all CareMessage offerings

Collaborate with our in-house translator, clinical advisory board, and others to launch updates to templates and content provided to CareMessage customers

Drive internal education and trainings to elevate our team’s understanding of health equity

Data-Driven Impact Measurement

Synthesize findings on what is and is not driving improvements in health equity, and the strength in the quality of the data

Maintain our impact library from customer reported outcomes to research partnerships

Collaborate with external partners on research and evaluation initiatives that test the effectiveness of CareMessage interventions

Relationship & Project Management

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on a variety of projects aimed at improving health equity

Manage projects through organized documentation, timeline management, and outcomes-focused prioritization

Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in healthcare to understand clinic operations, quality improvement, and care delivery

Requirements

Degree in clinical or healthcare field, Public Health degrees preferred

Two or more roles with direct experience in a healthcare setting, ideally in areas related to primary care

Experience implementing a technology, other than an EHR, in a clinical setting

Understanding of healthcare technology and/or patient education for low-income populations

Strong project management skills

$103,547 – $103,547 a year

Compensation Details

This role is currently set at a mid-level role, equivalent to someone who has held a handful of program-related roles in the past. Their scope of impact at CareMessage will be within the Strategy team. Our salary allocation for this role is $103,547.
