Billing Specialist
What You Will Do
Perform a variety of financial and non-financial tasks such as customer account set-up, monthly billing, collections, and answering inquiries.
Assists with entering/canceling subscriptions in Netsuite and participates in monthly billing runs including creating daily one-off invoices.
Assists with gentle payment reminders via email and phone.
Receives payments by way of credit card, direct bank transfer, pre-authorized debit and wire utilizing processing system when applicable; including applying payments to customer accounts.
Assists with account reconciliation and resolves payment issues.
Respond and resolve customer inquiries via the iTel ticketing system and phone
Learns services and products and stays up-to-date on current trends and software changes within the company.
Assists with creating efficient and effective systems and processes for the Finance Department.
Performs other related duties as required.

Qualifications
Post-secondary education in Accounting or a related field and a minimum of 3 years of recent, related experience. A combination of education, skills, and experience may be considered.ย
Experienced in G-suite and Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships and provide exceptional customer service to internal and external clients
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Strong attention to detail
Demonstrates initiative and adaptability
Have a can-do attitude
Possesses strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Ability to organize work, be accurate, set priorities, multi-task and work with minimal direction; ability to meet strict deadlines
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Knowledge of Netsuite is an asset
